MSI (www.matsysinc.com) designs, prototypes and manufactures innovative and cost-effective custom products ranging from acoustic transducers for underwater sonar to industrial ultrasound systems. MSI developed a proprietary injection-molded piezocomposite technology that is used not only in defense applications such as mine hunting and neutralization, torpedo homing, AUVs, acoustic communications and harbor defense, but also in oil and gas surveying and exploration, as well as a variety of medical applications.
