BOSTON, MA — Dunn Rush & Co. LLC is pleased to announce the recent closing of the sale of Amer-Sil S.A. (“Amer-Sil”) by its corporate parent The Moore Company to members of the company’s management.  Dunn Rush & Co. served as financial advisor to Amer-Sil and The Moore Company in the transaction.

Amer-Sil (www.amer-sil.com) produces high quality, micro-porous polymer/silica separators and woven and non-woven gauntlets for industrial batteries used to produce motion or motive power for machinery and equipment such as an electrical forklift. The company offers a complete range of traction and stationary batteries, as well as flooded and valve-regulated lead-acid (VRLA) batteries. Amer-Sil was founded in 1970 and is based in Luxembourg.
